The crane will drop a pile of wood, and on top of it is the money bag. On the wooden wall, connect the broken wires and move to the other side of the wall.

Further, you can put the money in your truck and it will also count for completion. If you toss a stack of money from a roof and it lands in a yellow escape zone, it will not break and it will count for completion. I do not know the extent to which stacks of money can survive a fall, however, they can certainly take a beating. Stacks of money found in normal levels do burn. To my knowledge, bags of money in Escape levels do not burn.
